Michael A. Stankus

Michael A. Stankus, 42, passed away at home, Sunday, November 7, 2021.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Kenneth J. Stankus (deceased) and Mary Ann (Mattress) Stankus. Michael was an accomplished mechanic, he took immense pride in his work, loved his profession and was exceptional at it.

Michael leaves his mother, Mary Ann (Mattress) Stankus; two brothers, Derek, and Nicholas Stankus; two sisters, Marcella Vasiliadis and Kendra Stankus. He is held in loving memory by his nephews, Anthony Vasiliadis, Joseph Lwiss and Andrew Martinez; his nieces, Maria Vasiliadis, and Ava Stankus; a great nephew, Marcus Vasiliadis.

Mike enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, listening to music, grilling at family cookouts, Hampton Beach and especially spending time with his nieces and nephews. Michael’s heart was as big as his smile, and he helped anyone who needed him. He will be dearly missed.

Calling hours will be held Sunday, November 14^th from 4 pm to 7 pm at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St.  Masks are required.

His services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
