Lisa M Chandley Thuot

Lisa Chandley Thuot, 44, of Shrewsbury, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2019, at UMass Hospital. 

Lisa is survived by her devoted husband of nearly twenty years, Marc J. Thuot; their three daughters, Emma, Tess and Grace, all of Shrewsbury; her parents, Brian M. and Maureen E. (Sullivan) Chandley of Worcester; a sister, Carolyn P. Chandley and her fiancé Paul Lee of Worcester; a brother, Brian N. Chandley and his wife Sarah of Lancaster; her father and mother-in-law, Rene J. and Kathleen F. (Kirouac) Thuot of Delray Beach, FL; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her beloved  dog, Junie.  Lisa was born in Worcester and graduated from Doherty Memorial High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Worcester State University School of Nursing.

Lisa was a Pediatric Nurse at UMass Medical for twenty years, and was adept at caring for children and their families, while giving them comfort and care throughout their hospitalization  She loved reading, gardening, summers at New England beaches with her family but was most devoted to caring for her daughters, who brought her so much joy.

Calling Hours will be held on Monday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.  A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton Street, Worcester. (Please go directly to church)
