Warren W. Leach, 87, a longtime resident of Boylston, passed away surrounded by the family he loved Saturday, October 18th, 2025, after a brief illness. 

Warren was born in Framingham, one of four children of Henry and Ida (Whiting) Leach. He graduated from Framingham High School, class of 1956, and joined the US Air Force serving his country proudly. Warren then became a Master Electrician working at General Motors in Framingham.. After the plants closing he continued his career at the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority where he work for many years before retiring. 

He is survived by the “Love of his Life” for over 38 years, Carol A. (Jassons) Leach; five devoted children, Todd Leach and his wife Leah of Bedford, James Stanton, Jeffrey Stanton and his wife Tracey all of Boylston, Paul Stanton and his wife Patricia of Auburn, and Kristen Hicks of Dennis; a sister, Janet Cushman of Port St Lucie, Florida; cherished friends Seth Gonyea and his wife Kathy of Sterling; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, a son, Terrence Leach, and two sisters, Patricia Leach and Judy Kaczmarowski all predeceased him. 

Warren was a member and former exalted ruler for the Worcester Order of Elks, the Boylston American Legion, Council on Aging and the Boylston Senior Citizen Society. He loved the joy of traveling with Carol, spending time with family and friends, music, singing at church, gardening, bowling and golf, notably recording a hole in one. Warren had a huge heart, generous way, and an abundance amount of great advice. He will be greatly missed by all. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24th at 2 pm in the First Congregational Church of Boylston, 10 Church Street, Boylston. Calling hours will be held before at 1 pm at the church. Memorial remembrances in his name can be made to the American Legion Youth Programs foundations at The American Legion, Donation Center, PO Box 1954, Indianapolis, IN 46206. www.mylegion.org/donate The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street Worcester is honored to assist the family.
