Thomas J. Chachi

Thomas J. Chachi, 71 of Oxford, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 12, 2026.

Born in Worcester, the late son of Gregory and Victoria (Lupu) Chachi. He was a graduate of Burncoat High School, Class of 1975. Tom worked as a maintenance mechanic for Worcester Housing Authority for 37 years, retiring in 2014. He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.

Tom is survived by a sister, Diane Bourisk and her husband George of Grafton; a nephew, Michael Bourisk and his wife Shelby of Leominster; a niece, Sarah Taskey and her husband Ryan of Whitinsville; two great nieces. Besides his parents, Tom was predeceased by a sister, Ann Marie Chachi.

Services for Tom will be held privately. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
