Susanna (Azzarone) Festa passed away peacefully at the age of 85, surrounded by her family.
Born in Worcester on July 17, 1941, Susanna was the eldest child of the late Pantaleo and Angelina (Padavano) Azzarone.
Susanna brought warmth and dedication to everything she did. Over the years, she held a number of jobs, but she especially cherished the final 15 years of her career at the F.W. Madigan Company, where she formed lasting friendships and truly enjoyed her work.
Throughout her life, Susanna found true joy in cooking for family and friends, always ensuring that no one ever left her table hungry. Caring for those she loved was simply part of who she was. She was a source of wisdom and unconditional love, and the memories she created with her friends and family will remain in their hearts forever.
Susanna is predeceased by her beloved parents, her son, David, and her brother, Joseph Azzarone Sr. She leaves behind her husband of 65 years, Michael, and her brother, Gerald “Jerry” Azzarone. Her children, Joanne Fiore (Michael) of Spicewood, TX, and Michael Festa Jr. (Valery) of Farmington, PA. She was the cherished grandmother “Mama” of Kayla Murphy (Timothy) of Austin, TX, Mac Festa (Justine) of Laramie, WY, Timothy Fiore (Laura) of Austin, TX, Paige Festa-White (Adam) of Clarksville, MD, Chelsi Leister (Nicholas) of Sterling, VA, and Madison Tabaj (John) of Uniontown, PA. She is also survived by her ten great-grandchildren: Charlie, Connor, Julianna, Emilia, Beckett, Deacon, Miller, Archer, Andi, and Ivy as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and dear friends.
