Somboun "Sam" Konthong

Somboun “Sam” Konthong, 81, of Worcester, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Saint Francis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Sam is survived by his wife, Phou (Vongchampa) Konthong; three sons, Tim Konthong, Santy Konthong, and Jeremy Konthong; four daughters, Pumaly Panmuang, Souvanee Louangkhamdeng, Pranee Konthing, and Vatsaly Phenix.  Sam was born in Vientiane, Laos, and emigrated to the United States when he was forty-three.

A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, December 23, at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a procession to Rural Crematory in Worcester.
