Seth Joseph Mierzejewski

Seth Joseph Mierzejewski, 53, of Worcester, Massachusetts, passed away at his home on Monday, July 27, 2026.

Born on January 18, 1973, Seth grew up in Worcester, where he graduated from Doherty High School. He proudly served his country by enlisting in both the United States Marine Corps and later the United States Navy. Between his military service, Seth dedicated his career to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts serving as an employee at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Department and Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center.

Seth is survived by his two daughters, Shelby Mierzejewski and Gabrielle Mierzejewski, both of Worcester. He is also survived by his wife, Dawn Mierzejewski; his father, Richard Mierzejewski of Worcester; his sister, Sydney Moura and her husband, Timothy Moura, of Paxton; one niece and two nephews; and the mother of his daughters, Jennifer Linde of Worcester. He also leaves behind his faithful canine companion, Gunner, who was never far from his side.

He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy Beck Mierzejewski.

A proud veteran, Seth remained deeply committed to supporting fellow servicemen and women through his involvement with Veterans Inc. in Worcester. He had a compassionate heart, an outgoing personality, and a remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went. Seth embraced life with humor and generosity.

Services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to Veterans Inc. in Seth's memory, honoring his dedication to those who served our country.
