Listen to Obituary

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, Heaven gained an angel, as Rosemarie “Rosie” (Champagne) Feeley, 59 of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly at home.

Rosie was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Alice (Smalley) Champagne. For many years, Rosie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, but most notably was a caretaker for her mother-in-law during her final years. Rosie truly found comfort in helping others, and always made herself readily available to anyone who needed her. Rosie had unconditional love for her family, enjoyed decorating her home for the holidays, and was an avid animal lover. Her beloved dogs were her fur babies, and went everywhere with her. She was happiest in the presence of her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her devoted husband James A. Feeley, Sr.; twin stepsons James A. Feeley, Jr. (wife Allysen) of Shrewsbury and Jason Feeley of Fort Myers, FL.; two grandchildren, Madelyn and Jacob Feeley; a brother Charles Ferber of Colorado; a sister Cindy Fournier of Connecticut, brothers-in-law Steven (wife Mary) of West Boylston and Richard (partner Sandra) of Whitinsville, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, whom she adored. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Donald, James and Roy, and sister Donna.

Calling hours and burial will be private. The Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel has been entrusted with her arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rosie’s memory to the Lymphoma Research Foundation (https://lymphoma.org) .
