Rosa M. (Rodriguez) Zambrano

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Rosa M. (Rodriguez) Zambrano, 92, of Worcester, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late, Aureliano Zambrano.

Born April 6, 1934, in Cómbita, Boyaca, Columbia, Rosa was the daughter of the late Martin and Adelina Mayorga de Rodriguez. She easily made friends and loved sharing her faith with others. 

We will miss Rosa immensely but her warm heart and love for us will live forever in our hearts.

Rosa is survived by her loving children, Henry Zambrano and Fabio Ernesto Zambrano; her adored grandchildren, Stefania Zambrano and Johan Zambrano; her beloved siblings, Rita Rodriguez, Luis Rodriguez and Maria L. Barrientos; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Sadly, in addition to her parents and her beloved husband, Rosa was predeceased by her infant sister and infant son. 

Calling hours for Rosa will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
