Ronald was born in Worcester on June 14, 1936, eldest son of the late Mario and Margaret (Generelli) Carabba. On December 18, 1954 he married the love of his life Eleanor (Dickinson) Carabba and soon afterwards enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served in the Korean War. Ron then went on to start his own contracting business where he was the proud owner for over forty years. Ron’s love for sports was no secret. He was well rounded! He loved the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots & Boston Celtics. He followed college sports. Most importantly Ron was a devoted friend of Bill W for 47 years where he cherished and nourished that friendship religiously and consistently. His family watched him grow, change and help anyone in his path with beaming pride!

Lastly, Ron was a devoted, proud family man. He led his family with dignity, honor, and God’s grace. He had a funny way of putting things such as; you don’t have to like it, you just have to accept it. Give it to GOD!
