Roger W. Lavallee

Roger W. Lavallee, 70 of Charlton formerly of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at UMass Hospital.

Roger was born in Worcester, a son of the late Henry Lavallee and Barbara M. (Masterson) Morrow.  He attended Worcester Public Schools and lived in Worcester all his life until moving to Charlton 12 years ago. Roger worked as a maintenance technician for Worcester Skilled Care for 15 years before his retirement in 2021. He was an all-around sportsman who especially enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.

Roger is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan E. (Harrison) Brown; two sons, Jonathan Brown and his wife Gina of New Hampshire and Mathew Brown and his wife Samantha of Millbury; a brother, Ronald Lavallee of Cherry Valley; three sisters, Elaine Manzi-Simonelli of Worcester, Diane Cohn-Esper and her husband Eddie of Worcester and Laura Jean-Peters of North Carolina; two grandchildren, Abigail, and Gwen Brown; many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by a brother, Robert M. Lavallee; two sisters, Lee-Ann Milus and Michelle Boisclair.

Services for Roger will be held privately.  MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
