Robert Jordan Frank

Robert J. Frank, 93, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the Jewish Healthcare Center. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Sheila A. (Collins) Frank.

Bob, as he was mostly known, is survived by three sons, Robert J. Frank, Jr. and his wife Rebeccah, Steven K. Frank and his wife Nicole, and Justin A. Frank; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Stephen F. Jensen. Born in Worcester, the only son of the late, Jordan and Freida (Schumacher) Frank, he graduated from Worcester Academy and earned a bachelor’s degree in Geography from Syracuse University. He later served his nation proudly in the United States Army, from 1955 until discharge to reserve duty in 1957. He remained in the reserves until 1961.

Bob worked as a salesman for many years, with Garcy Corporation, outfitting retailers throughout New England with store fixtures. Bob enjoyed summers on Cape Cod, where he had a second home and would captain his boat in the waters surrounding the Cape. He loved the companionship of his dedicated German Shepherds, and long walks with them. He also worked proudly with the Boy Scouts of America as a troop leader when his son’s where younger.

Calling Hours will be on Thursday, July 23, from 9:30 am until his Funeral Service begins at 11 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment with Military Honors will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
