Robert DiNitto

Robert (Bob) DiNitto, 77, of Worcester passed away February 16, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. Born August 15, 1946, in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Vincent and Louise (Pecorari) DiNitto. He was the beloved husband of 51 years to the late, Lucia (Tiberio) DiNitto. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Dianne DiNitto of Bedford.

Robert is survived by his loving children, Matthew DiNitto and his wife Donna of Wilmington, Amy Blessington and her husband Jim of Shrewsbury, Betsy David and her husband Keith of Wilbraham; his dear brother, James DiNitto and his wife Kathy of North Attleboro; his adored grandchildren, Ava DiNitto, Abby and Callie Blessington, Nathaniel and Harrison David; and many nieces and nephews. 

Bob was a dedicated business owner for over 49 years distributing baked goods to local supermarkets. In his free time, Bob enjoyed feeding the birds and playing casino games. He looked forward to going to the Summit Elder Care Day Program with his “buddies”. But most of all he loved spending time with family.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPLE, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 12:00pm at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL.
