Ralph D Casey

Ralph D. Casey, 84, a lifelong resident of Worcester passed away peacefully Sunday, September 27, 2026.

Ralph was born in Worcester, the son of John and Marie (Campanello) Casey. He grew up in Worcester, graduated from Commerce High and earned his bachelor’s degree from Worcester State College. Ralph went on to have a long career with Micro Tech Corporation as a machinist before retiring as foremen.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 44 years Jeane M. (Giaquinto) Casey; daughters, Tina Lafort in Arizona, Joanne and Kim Casey; one son, Mark Casey; three brothers, Thomas D. Casey of Holden, Charles F. Casey of Shrewsbury, and Michael P. Casey of Dana Point CA; a sister, Carol Leschke of Holden; grandchildren, great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. In addition to his parents, Ralph was predeceased by brothers, John A. Casey Jr., Kenneth Casey, and Thomas Casey.

While Ralph’s family was his biggest treasure. He was also an avid, Red Sox and New England Patriots fan and enjoyed walking, travel especially his trips to Florida, playing Bingo, and the occasional trip to the numbers store in search of a big winner (scratch ticket) . Ralph and Jean were enthusiastic supporters of the St Jude Children’s Research foundation.

Ralphs celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, October 6th with a period of calling hours from 4 pm to 6 pm with a service at 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Ralph’s name can be made to the St Jude Children’s research hospital, 501 St Jude way, Memphis Tenn. www.stjude.org/donate
