Phyllis R. (Morin) Dick, of Worcester, passed away surrounded by love, Sunday, June 28th, 2026.
Phyllis was born in Worcester, one of three daughters of Philip and Alice (Vigneault) Morin. She was raised in Holden and Worcester. After high school, Phyllis worked as a drafting clerk in the engineering department. She then married and moved to Connecticut where her husband was stationed in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service. After several years as a navy wife, she moved back to Worcester and retired from St Vincent Hospital.
Phyllis was predeceased by her former husband, Ernest C. Dick Jr., and her two daughters, Kathleen Farrell and Diane Dick. She leaves her son-in-law, John Farrell of Worcester; two cherished grandchildren, who lovingly called her “Mimi,” Ryan Farrell and his wife, Magdalena, and Ashley Farrell and her husband, Johnathan Wilbur; four great-grandchildren, Jameson, Tyler, Sylvia, and Annalise; as well as extended family members and friends.
Phyllis enjoyed reading, tending her garden, plants, and watching TV. In life, Phyllis’s family was the most important part. Whether it was a celebration, holiday, grandchildren’s activity, or family gathering, these will be the moments that will be remembered.
A period of calling hours will be held Monday, July 6th from 330 to 5 pm followed by a prayer service in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be private. Memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 330 Brookline Ave, Boston Mass. www.joslin.org/donate.
