Phouthone (Phasavath) Thirakoune

Phouthone (Phasavath) Thirakoune, 66, of Winchendon, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Vientiane, Laos, Phouthone was the daughter of the late Junto and Khampha Phasavath. She was a dedicated worker who spent several years as an assembler at Advanced Cable Ties.

Phouthone was a wonderful, hardworking mother and grandmother. Immensely loved, she will be remembered and honored by her beloved family and friends. May she rest eternally in peace and may her earthly burdens be forgotten.

She is survived by her husband, Kham Thirakoune; a son, Chansana Thirakoune of Florida; a daughter, Thatsany Thirakoune and her husband, Phetsamone Silavong, of Winchendon, with whom she lived; and her cherished grandchild, Surianna Silavong.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24th, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by cremation at Rural Crematory in Worcester.
