Pauline C. (Cultrera) Mazzone, 95, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Benchmark Senior Living in Shrewsbury, MA. The family would like to thank Visiting Angels for the love, compassion and excellent care they gave to Mom, and would like to extend their gratitude to the Benchmark staff for the outstanding care Mom received. The friendships she made at Benchmark became extended family.

She is survived by her husband of nearly seventy-five years, Thomas W. Mazzone; a son, Thomas W. Mazzone and his wife, Roseanna of Hillsborough, NJ; a daughter, Andrea Gina Savastano of Worcester; a brother, Anthony Cultrera and his wife, Joann of Shrewsbury; sister-in-law, Dolores Mazzone of Millbury; three grandsons, Joseph A. Mazzone of Hillsborough, NJ and his wife, Hope, Paul T. Savastano of Worcester; and Michael T. Mazzone and his wife, Cristina of Maplewood, NJ; three great grandsons, Anthony J. Mazzone of Washington, DC, Benicio M. Mazzone, and Lucas T. Mazzone, both of Maplewood, NJ; a niece and five nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Paul Cultrera. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Paul and Josephine (Leone) Cultrera. She lived in Worcester for most of her life, before moving to Bradenton, Florida in 1990, later returning to Worcester.

Pauline graduated from the former Ascension High School and the Kay Foley Ward School of Accounting in 1948 and 1949, she also attended Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing. She worked for Norton Abrasive Company in the payroll department for years and the Travelers Insurance Company, before retiring in 1990. Following her retirement, she worked part-time and did volunteer work at the Manatee Community College in Bradenton FL, for several years. She was also a member of the Auxiliary Retired Officers Association and the Dante Alighieri Society of Boston. Pauline enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Most of all, Pauline was noted for ensuring no family members or friends were alone during holidays.

Calling Hours will be on Friday, April 10, from 12 pm until 2 pm, with a Prayer Service at 2pm in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will be held privately.
