Patricia Elaine Warren

January 1, 1957 — March 10, 2024

Worcester

Patricia Elaine Warren was born on January 1st, 1957, in Tuskegee, Alabama to the late John Henry Warren and Ethel Lee (Lewis) Garrett.

She grew up mostly in Worcester, Massachusetts. Her young adult years she lived in Plumley Village where she was very well-known and contributed to many memories. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital for over 20 years and was forced to end her professional career due to an injury. From that she gained a deeper meaning in life through her service in the community.

Patricia, also known as ‘Grandma Elaine’ was the mother of Sever Street and the Church Mother at The Kingdom of Grace Holy Tabernacle. She was a wonderful mother and a well-loved member of the community. She was always there providing shelter for those in need, food to those who were hungry, and love to those who were lost. She was a true servant of the Lord beyond her service at church. She extended God’s love to everyone she encountered. Patricia redefined the meaning of family and love for many.

She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her friends and grandchildren. Cooking was undoubtedly her favorite thing to do. Holidays and Birthdays were highlights because everyone looked forward to eating Grandma Elaine’s infamous macaroni and cheese.

Patricia Elaine Warren sadly passed away on March 10th, 2024, peacefully with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents John Henry Warren and Ethel Lee (Lewis) Garrett and her brother-in-law Harry J. Jones. She cherished 50 years of friendship with Major J. Berry III, who passed on January 5th, 2024, and her best friend Patricia A. Wells who passed away on September 8th, 2021.

Patricia leaves to cherish her loving memories to her one and only beloved daughter Yolanda R. Garrett of Worcester MA; three sisters Ethel M. Robinson and her husband John Robinson, Dorothy L. Jones, and Fannie R. Townsend; one brother John Henry Warren and his wife Patricia A. Warren; her beloved grandchildren Marcelle May, Shauntaisa Garrett-Blake, Martisha and Marty Silvera, Antoinette Miller, Keona Gavin, Shamari and Shavar Buchanan, and Andre Thompson; her adored great grandchildren Natalia, Denazha, Nyleah, Daionna, Nahsai, Christian, Epic, Aidyn, and King- Saviour. She also leaves to cherish her loving memories to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.
