Patricia M. (Riggieri) Gremo

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Patricia M. (Riggieri) Gremo, 81, of Grafton. She was the beloved wife of fifty-seven years to the late Thomas W. Gremo, who passed in 2024.

Born March 17, 1944, in Worcester, she was the daughter of the late Anthony, Sr. and Rita (Sands) Riggieri. 

Patricia is survived by her loving daughters, Kimberly Gremo and Michelle Kelley and her husband Thomas; her adored grandchildren, Madison and Matthew Kelley; her dear siblings, Paul Riggieri and his wife Candra Szymanski, Cheryl Ferguson and her husband Richard, Margaret DiGregorio and her husband Robert; several nieces and nephews; and her cherished best friend, Carol Pollisack. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Patricia was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Riggieri, Jr.

Pat was a graduate of Worcester Girls Trade School where she was trained as a seamstress. Later in life, she returned to work as a Legislative Aide at the Massachusetts State House, followed by a career she loved as a Case Specialist for the Worcester District Court Clerk’s Office. While there, Pat made lifelong friends that she continued to spend time with as often as possible.

Pat enjoyed traveling with her family, always saying “I’ll go” to every opportunity. She also loved spending time with her Magill Drive friends, who became extended family to her. Pat was always the first to organize social gatherings for the neighborhood, which often ended in her driveway.

Pat took immense pride in her beloved grandchildren. She never missed a school or sporting event, always arriving in school colors to cheer them on. Beyond her devotion to family, Pat was a constant source of kindness and compassion, never failing to remember a special date and or offer genuine support to those she loved.

Pat’s family is truly grateful for the care and support they have received from family and friends over the past six weeks.

A Funeral Mass will be held for Patricia on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Loreto Parish, 37 Massasoit Road, Worcester. Patricia will be laid to rest next to the love of her life at a private burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
