Pablo Castrodad Soto

Worcester- Pablo R. Castrodad Soto, 67, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Concord Funeral Home in Laconia, NH. He is survived and greatly missed by his beloved wife of over 30 years Evangelina (Torres) Castrodad. He also leaves behind his loving children- Jennifer M. Castrodad Torres, Pablo A. Castrodad Torres, and Rainer A. Castrodad Torres; fourteen grandchildren- Elianis Ruiz Castrodad, Yasen Orsini Castrodad, Yasmin Orsini Castrodad, Jenielis Orsini Castrodad, Jadiel Orsini Castrodad, Yanuel Orsini Castrodad, Dianaliz Castrodad Baez, Lezmarie Castrodad Baez, Xavier Castrodad Ginaig, Genie Castrodad Soberal, Rainier Castrodad Soberal, Armando Castrodad Soberal, Matthew Castrodad Soberal, and Julie Castrodad Soberal, and a sister Betzaida Castrodad Soto. Pablo was predeceased by his brother Zadot Castrodad Soto and his granddaughter Desiree F. Orsini Castrodad.

Pablo was born in Puerto Rico, son of the late Pablo Jose Castrodad Diaz and Brigida Soto Rivera. He received his bachelor’s degree from Anna Maria College in Paxton MA. He then went on to proudly service his country in the US Army. He enjoyed listening and dancing to Spanish music, such as Salsa and Merengue. He also loved to watch sports, especially baseball and basketball. He loved to travel to his native island of Puerto Rico and going on road trips. Above all, Pablo enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and going to get togethers during special days like birthdays and holidays.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 at a time to be announced soon at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home. Pablo will then have the honor of being laid to rest at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA.
