Miriam Estrada

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Miriam (Acevedo) Estrada, of Worcester, on Saturday, October 24, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late Felix C. Estrada-Perez who passed in 2019.

Born on November 8, 1951, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, Miriam was the daughter of the late Carlos Acevedo and Ramona Grajales. Miriam cherished her family with all her heart. Her passion for crafting was a lifelong love affair, and her devotion to the Lord was unwavering.

Miriam is survived by her loving children, Herminio Estrada, Anania Grajales, Felix Estrada, Jr., Elizabeth Estrada, and Jackeline Estrada; her adored grandchildren, Jessica Estrada, Anthony Estrada, Nathan Estrada, Jose Villanueva, George Villanueva, Jatimil Molina, Jonathan Molina, Alexis Giovanni Grajales, Melanie Grajales, Davontay Jacob, Felix Isaiah Estrada, Destiny Estrada; her dear 27 great-grandchildren; her cherished siblings; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A period of Calling Hours will be held for Miriam on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 10:30am until her Funeral Service starting at 12:30pm all in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Miriam will be laid to rest immediately following services in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
