It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mieczyslaw Jozef Huk, 75, of Worcester, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Lublin, Poland December 28, 1950, Mieczyslaw was the son of the late Stanislaw and Zofia (Wender) Huk.
Mieczyslaw loved the simple pleasures of life: fishing, cooking a hearty meal, reading a good book, and traveling to visit and spend cherished time with family. In his free time, he could often be found immersed in a good book or devoted to his work, which was a significant part of who he was and how he provided for and supported his family. He valued hard work, meaningful connections, and the comfort of being surrounded by the people he loved most.
Mieczyslaw is lovingly survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Audenes (Baach) Huk of Worcester; his son, Mark Huk; his stepchildren, Andre Oliveira, Aline Oliveira, and AnaPaula Rossi; his son-in-law, Leopoldo Rossi; and his cherished grandchildren, Leah Rossi, Emma Rossi, Ariella Rossi, Alyssa Gaspar, and Adrianna Araujo. He also leaves behind his work family at The Salitsky Company- especially Barbara and Ira- whose friendship, support and lasting bond grew beyond colleagues to become like family and dear friends.
There are no words that can capture how much Mieczyslaw will be missed. While his physical presence is no longer with us, his memory will continue to live on in everyone who knew him.
Interment will be held for Mieczyslaw on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 2:00pm in Chevra Kadisha Cemetery, Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mieczyslaw’s memory to his wife, Audenes Huk.
