Michael S. Ustaitis

Michael S. “Uey” Ustaitis, 57 of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at home.

Michael was born in Worcester and grew up on Grafton Hill, something he loved and was very proud of. He frequently told many memorable stories about his years growing up. Michael worked in various positions in the construction industry for many years, most recently HVAC. Michael was a hard worker and a jack of all trades who was a very skilled worker. He was a very generous person and always there to help anyone no matter what.

Michael is survived by his father, Gerald P. Ustaitis and his wife Carla of Rutland; his son, Timothy M. Kane of Worcester; twin sisters, Susan Ustaitis and Sally Ustaitis of Worcester; two brothers, Robert Brown and his wife Nicole of Charlton and James Chesna of Spencer; nieces and nephews, Kendall Price, Samatha Binienda and Riane Anderson; four great nieces and nephews; many friends and extended family. He was predeceased by his mother, Nancy E. (Furey) Hodges.

A memorial service for Michael will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 2-6 pm at the American Legion Post 306, 885 Pleasant St., Paxton, MA. 01612. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
