Michael J. Barry

Michael J. Barry, of Charlotte, Maine passed away peacefully on Thursday June 11th 2026.

Michael was born in Worcester, a son of the late Richard J Barry and Mary E (Reynolds), Michael graduated from Leicester High School before proudly enlisting in the United States Navy.

Michael worked for many years in the trucking industry, at one point owning his own company before retiring from Al’s Oil Company in 2019.

Michael especially enjoyed the time spent with his family, traveling many times to Ireland and abroad with Dawn, fishing, kayaking, and annual grandchildren-only vacations. He also loved time spent on his tractor and in his dream home by the lake in Maine.

He is survived by his best friend and loving wife, Dawn M. (Bisceglia), daughter, Sarah R. Barry, sons, Justin J. Moore and fiancé Lisa Sacco, Joshua T. Moore and wife Svenja; grandchildren Max, Emory, Abagael, and Kian. Michael is also survived by his sisters, Deborah Smith husband Gary, Christine Taylor, Patricia Warren, brother, Kevin Barry wife Laura, brother-in-law, Bob Bisco and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends. He is predeceased by his sister, Mary Bisco, and brothers-in-law, Robert Taylor, Jr., and John Warren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of Calling Hours on Thursday, June 18, 2026, from 4pm-7pm in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St. Worcester. Services to be held at St. John’s Parish, 44 Temple Street, Worcester, on June 19, 2026, at 11am.
