Maureen F Trotto

Maureen F. Trotto, 77, a lifelong resident of Worcester, passed away Sunday, June 28th 2026 surrounded by love

Born in Worcester, Maureen was the oldest daughter of the late Saverio “Sam” and Frances “Frannie” Trotto, and is now reunited in Heaven with them and her daughter, Michele Marie Smith.    Maureen will be lovingly remembered by her siblings, Marie-Annette Amato, Paula Murgo, Ralph Trotto, nieces, nephews as well as extended family and friends.

Maureen was very proud of her accomplishments as an executive assistant for the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and the City of Worcester School department, for many years before retiring. She loved Golf and was a onetime member of the Leicester Country Club. She enjoyed, attending nephews baseball games, being with and shopping with her sisters, the family holiday celebrations and especially her best friend and pet Bulldog “Sammy”

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Christopher House for the exceptional love, kindness, and care they provided to Maureen throughout her time there.

At Maureen’s request, services were held privately. Maureen was reunited with Michelle in the Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made in Maureen’s memory to Christopher House, 10 Mary Scano Dr Worcester, MA 01605.
