Maureen E. DePari. 80, of Worcester passed away peacefully surrounded by the family she loved, Monday, June 8th 2026

Maureen was born in Worcester, the daughter of Carolina (Baldino) DePari and Nicholas A DePari. She grew up in the Italian section of Worcester, Shrewsbury Street and graduated from Commerce High School. Maureen also attended Quinsigamond Community College to become a PCA in private practice outside of hospitals, helping people in their homes. Her very first job was working at the Worcester Public library as a secretary. Maureen then worked at several , different positions, she loved always keeping busy helping people in need, at UMass /Memorial hospital as a One to One, or St, Vincent Hospital One to One, she deeply enjoyed these positions and put everyone first before herself, she was selfless in all her jobs, Maureen then retired from the Worcester County Sheriff s Office in West Boylston In all her employed years Maureen always made sure she would be able to help out those in need, her daughters and eventually her precious grandchildren

Maureen is survived by her two daughters Tracie Bove, of Holden, Tara Clay and her husband Dave of Leicester: Her four beloved grandchildren whom she loved to the moon and back Alivia MacDonald, and her husband Brendan, Nick Bove and his companion Jill, Brandon and Luke Clay: a great granddaughter she cherished Ella; extended family and friends. Her daughters and grandchildren were her life, and she was there for them no matter what she was doing.

Maureen cherished being with her family and friends, especially her daughters and grandchildren who were the loves of her life, never missing any of their sporting events and activities. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Parish, and loved going dancing at the former Recreation Center every Saturday night. Maureen also loved attending the Italian festivals held on Shrewsbury Street every year. Maureen was a big fan of Elvis Presley and Princess Diana, following stories and documentaries about their lives. She also enjoyed, bowling, music, and walking at Lake Park, spending time with her cousins whenever she could.

Friends and relatives are invited to gather for calling hours, followed by a prayer service Celebrating Maureen’s life, Saturday June 13th from 11 am to 2 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances in her name can be made to the P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 ADANewEngland@American Diabetes Association
