Maryellen (Tupper) Dickie, 58, of Leominster, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, surrounded by loved ones after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.
Maryellen was born in Worcester March 18, 1967, and adopted by the late Burt and Louise Tupper. Renowned for her warm heart, hard work, and strong spirit, Maryellen dedicated herself to her career and patients at Umass Memorial. There she connected with many, including AnhDao Nguyen who offered unconditional support and laughter throughout their friendship.
Maryellen is survived by her partner Dave Perry of Leominster; her loving children, Samantha Dickie, Jacob Dickie, and Michelle Dickie; her three adored grandchildren; her dear siblings, Karen Butcher, Tina Berry, and Kevin Tupper; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 6, 2025, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at the Hudson Elks Lodge # 959, 99 Park Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
Mercadante Funeral Home & and Chapel are honored to assist the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Maryellen’s memory to the Umass Cancer Walk or Boston Children’s Hospital.
