MaryAnne Josephson

MaryAnne (Buonomo) Josephson, 76, of West Boylston passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

Born in Worcester on December 1, 1945, daughter of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (Petrone) Buonomo.

MaryAnne is survived by her beloved husband of almost 55 on September 23^rd, Robert B. Josephson.  She will be greatly missed by Bob and daughter, Lynne Ann Conrow and two grandchildren, Allison Eileen Conrow and Nathan Robert Conrow whom she adored.

MaryAnne leaves behind a brother, Dr. Anthony R. Buonomo and his wife Annette of Worcester; a sister-in-law, Marion Buonomo of Shrewsbury as well as nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.  She was predeceased by her sister, Chelestine “Chelly” Pignataro and her brother-in-law, Henry Pignataro and her brother, Valentine “Val” Buonomo.

MaryAnne graduated from Commerce High School and Girls Trade as a dental assistant.  She was a dental assistant for her brother, Dr. Anthony Buonomo for 16 years and worked as a medical records clerk at Fallon Clinic for 25 years, retiring in 2010.  A member of St. Christopher Parish in Worcester, she was a eucharistic minister for over 40 years.  MaryAnne loved to read and greatly enjoyed meeting her friends for breakfast or having coffee with them at Dunkins in West Boylston but she most treasured the time spent with her husband Bob.

Services for MaryAnne will be held on Thursday, September 15^, 2022 with departure in procession from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester to St. Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston St., Worcester where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.  Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, September 14^th from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
