Marjorie A. (Trahant) Bousquet, 86, of Worcester, passed away peacefully in Dodge Park Rest Home with her family by her side.
Marjorie was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth R. (Flood) Trahant. She attended Commerce High School and lived in Worcester all her life. Marjorie worked in the cafeteria for Wyman Gordon for many years and later for the Worcester Public Schools before retiring in 2004. She was a longtime member and volunteered at the Worcester Senior Center and traveled with them often. Marjorie was also a longtime member of the Red Hat Society. In her younger years, she enjoyed kayaking and going to flea markets.
Marjorie’s husband of 43 years, Raymond A. Bousquet, Jr. passed away on October 23, 2019. Marjorie is survived by her children, Bob Gervais and his husband John McLean of Worcester, Ronald Bousquet and his longtime companion Jane Lowe of Worcester, Richard Bousquet and his wife Lucy of Connecticut, Karen Saucier and her husband Stephen of Rhode Island and Sheila Caney and her husband Brian of Dudley; her niece Patricia Haglund and her husband James of Boylston; eight grandchildren, Keith and Stacey Bousquet, Rick Bousquet, Kirsten Cronin, Nicholas and Eve Saucier and Jesse and Joshua Caney; many great grandchildren , cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, Marjorie is predeceased by a sister, Grace Daley, her niece Aileen Markowski and her first husband Robert Gervais.
Marjorie’s family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff at Dodge Park Rest Home for the outstanding care and compassion they gave her in her time of need.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 9-11 am immediately followed by her funeral service at 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston.
