Marilyn B. (Roberts) Daigle, 90, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully at Sterling Village on Friday, October 30, 2026.

Born and raised in Leominster, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Aime and Jeannette (Lemoine) Roberts. She moved to Worcester in 1963. Marilyn worked for many years as the office manager for Phillips, Silver, Talman, Aframe & Sinrich, P.C., and later for James D. O’Brien, Jr., Esquire, before retiring.

Affectionately known as “Mamma,” Marilyn had a way of making everyone feel welcome and part of the family. She was everyone’s grandmother. Quick-witted and never afraid to speak her mind, she always came from a place of love. Everyone could count on her for a listening ear and a warm hug, and she ended every phone call with “I love you more.” She loved being surrounded by her family and was a devoted and enthusiastic cheerleader at her grandchildren’s sporting events and school activities.

Marilyn loved cooking and was especially famous for her delicious meatballs. Her infectious laughter was contagious, often bringing everyone in the room to tears. She was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed crafting, walking around the Wachusett Reservoir, and playing Keno.

Marilyn’s husband, William Daigle, Jr., predeceased her. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Puccio and his wife Kathy of Duxbury, and Paul Puccio and his wife Vivian of Shrewsbury; her brothers and sisters, Jackie Hester and her husband Paul of Hudson, Patricia Jameson of Winchendon, Richard Roberts of Sterling, Paul Roberts and his wife Norma of Leominster, and Barbara Salvi of Leominster. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren (with one more due in November), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Richard Jameson and Frank Salvi.

Services for Marilyn will be held privately. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, is honored to be assisting the family.

Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
