Marie Ellen Waszkiewicz

Marie E. (Miller) Waszkiewicz, 75 of Millbury, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at St. Vincent’s Hospital with her family by her side.

Marie was born and grew up in Worcester and moved to Millbury in 1968 to start her family.  She was the daughter of the late Peter E. and Marie E. (Bishop) Miller, Sr. 

Marie is survived by her son, James F. Waszkiewicz and his wife Tara of Millbury; three grandchildren, Stephanie Chartier, Chris Chartier, Jr., and James Green; four great grandchildren, Devin, Kayson and Bentley Chartier and her “tubby time” girl Skylar Newton; her former husband and the father of her sons, Paul J. Waszkiewicz of Florida and many great friends including, Dot, Mary, Marie and Joanne.  She is predeceased by two sons, Andrew P. Waszkiewicz in 2016 and an infant son, John Waszkiewicz: a brother, Peter E. Miller, Jr.

Marie’s family would like to extend many thanks to the staff at St. Vincent’s Hospital Critical Care Unit for all their kindness and compassion.

At Marie’s request, there will be no services.  MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
