Marie J. Martucci

Marie J. (Campanale) Marutcci, 97, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Benchmark Senior Living, surrounded by her loving family.  She is reunited in Heaven with her loving husband of forty-seven years, Emilio J. Martucci, who died in 1995 and with her beloved son, Joey Martucci, who died in 2011.

Marie is survived by two sons, Peter Martucci of Shrewsbury, and Vincent A. Martucci and his wife Karen of Mashpee; two handsome grandsons, Matthew Martucci and his wife Stephanie of Danielson, CT, and Anthony Martucci and his fiancé Kayla of Thompson, CT; nieces and nephews. Marie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Vincent and Mary (Mastrorio) Campanale, and lived in the city for most of her life, before moving to Shrewsbury.  She was predeceased by her brother, Peter Campanale, Sr. and by her best friend and sister, Frances Trotto.

Marie will be remembered for her loving smile and graciousness. She loved her family and friends and always enjoyed being surrounded by their love.  She was a wonderful cook and baker.  She had a tremendous dedication to her faith and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

The family would like to thank the staff and residents at Benchmark Senior Living for their kindness and love.  Marie loved living at Benchmark and making many new friends and she loved each and every one of them.

Funeral Services were held privately.
