Marian R. Latino

Marian R. Latino, 91, of Charlton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025, in Charlton.

She is survived by her niece, Diane T. (Battista) Lockwood and her husband, David, and her nephew, David J. Battista and his wife, Kathi, and their daughter, Valerie Battista. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph C. and Mariangelo (Marzo) Latino, and her beloved sister, Anna T. (Latino) Battista.

Born in Worcester on April 13, 1934, Marian was a graduate of Commerce High School and enjoyed a long career with Massachusetts Electric. An accomplished gardener, she also cared deeply for animals and was known for rescuing and feeding neighborhood cats.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until her funeral service at 10:00 a.m. in the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
