It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Margaret A. (Novak) Angus, 81, of Worcester, on Thursday, February 26, 2026.

Born May 26, 1944, in Worcester, Margaret was the daughter of the late Walter J. and Mary A. (O’Sullivan) Novak. Margaret was a graduate of Commerce High School class of 1961.

Margaret enjoyed listening to music and going to the beach. She was an avid New England Patriots fan following all the games and players, especially Tom Brady. Margaret loved visiting New York City and walking around Broadway. She was incredibly proud of her Irish heritage and celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.

Margaret took immense pride in her appearance, family and the home she was able to provide for them.

Margaret is survived by her loving son, Brian J. Angus and his wife Ann of Port Richer, FL; her adored grandchildren, Austin Angus and Trisha Graca; and many friends.

Margaret will be laid to rest in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 1:00p.m. Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel are honored to assist the family with arrangements. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s memory to the American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
