Lucy (Dagnello) Servideo, 94, a lifelong resident of Worcester, passed away surrounded by the family she loved Wednesday, May 6th 2026. Lucy is reunited in heaven with her husband of 66, years Frank S. Servideo, Jr. who passed away in 2016.

She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Italian immigrants, John and Josephine (Di Iorio) Dagnello and has lived here all her life. Lucy was a homemaker who cherished taking care of her husband, home and children.

Lucy is survived by her four devoted children; sons, Joseph Servideo of Shrewsbury, and James Servideo and his wife Bernadette of Worcester; daughters, Linda Russo and her husband Stephen of Holden, and Jane Barsamian and her husband John of Worcester; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Lavin, Andrew Servideo, Anthony Servideo, Matthew Servideo, Donna Servideo, Lisa Casko, Joanne Murphy, and Stephanie Morrissette; 13 great-grandchildren; Two brothers, John Dagnello and his wife Cynthia, Angelo Dagnello and his wife Sharon all of Worcester; a brother in law, Edward Pietrewicz of Worcester; many nieces, nephews extended family and friends. In addition to her parents and husband Frank, a daughter in law, Anne Servideo, two brothers, Anthony and Albert and two sisters Mary Trent and Lena Pietrewicz all predeceased her.

She was a member of Our Lady of The Rosary Church and enjoyed traveling throughout the U.S and Europe with Frank during their retirement. She was an Italian mother who passed her Italian heritage on to her children and had the greatest joy having them around her. Holidays, birthdays and special occasions were special times in Lucy’s life. She welcomed family, friends, and neighbors into her home often. There was always a meal to be had or a homemade treat to enjoy along with a chat at the kitchen table. She was an excellent gardener and loved spending time outdoors while tending to her many vegetables and flowers.

A period of calling hours will be held Monday, May 11th from 9 am to 10:30 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Proceeding at 10:30 to Our Lady of Rosary Church, 35 Fales Street where her Christian Burial Mass will be held at 11:00 am. She will be reunited with Frank in Notre Dame Cemetery. Family requests flowers be omitted and donations in her memory be made to Our Lady of The Rosary – Maintenance Fund, 25 Fales Street, Worcester, MA 01606.
