She was born in Nashua NH, the  daughter of Elphege and Florence (Davis) Lessard. During WWII Louise  worked in a factory in NH making supplies for the military. She then spent her working career as a telephone operator in many different organizations, most of which in the communications department of the Worcester Police Depart before retiring.

After retiring she volunteered at Wawecus Road School with her dear friend and neighbor Dolores, reading to the kindergarten classes. They called them “The Grandmothers”. She also volunteered at the local VA Clinic and local nursing homes doing crafts with the residence. For a period, Louise was the Junior Vice President of the Women’s Auxiliary at the West Boylston VFW Post 6907.  She loved Bingo and Bowling and was part of a Senior Candlepin Bowling League until her late 80’s. If asked where she wanted to go it was always a resounding Foxwoods!

Her faith was strong, and she would always tell us to “put it in Gods hands. She loved her family and was able to enjoy her last Christmas with them, we know that she is now in God’s hands.
