Lori Ann Bird

Lori Ann Bird, 54, of Worcester, passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loving family on Tuesday, January 30, 2024.  

Lori is survived by the love of her life, who has been at her side for thirty-six years, Christopher E. Schramm; a son, Jacob Schramm and his fiancé Kristen Lamothe, all of Worcester; her mother, Gail M. (Warren) Bird of Worcester; her father, David P. Bird and his wife of Millbury; a sister, Sherri Santosucci of Worcester; two step-brothers; nieces and nephews.  Lori and Chris suffered a pain that no parent should ever experience when their daughter, Amber Lee Bird, died in May 2005.  Lori was also predeceased by her sister, Lisa Bird in 1983.  Lori was born in Worcester.

Lori loved to be with her family and will be remembered as a loving mom.  She also enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, camping, paddle boarding and hanging with Chris and his teammates after their baseball games.  She loved simple pleasures, one of them being time with family and dear friends.  

Calling Hours will be on Monday, February 5, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.  Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 6 , at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Hope Cemetery.
