Linda Ann McMahon

Linda A. McMahon, of Worcester, passed away, Thursday, November 14, 2024 in the UMass Memorial Hospital, after a period of declining health challenges. She was 71.

Linda was born in Worcester on September 12, 1953, the daughter of the late George E. McMahon Sr. and Helen M. (Maciejewski ) McMahon.  She loved taking care of the elderly and worked many years for St. Mary's Healthcare, in Worcester, before retiring. She was a loving, mother, sister, and friend, who had a kind heart and bright smile and will be missed by all who knew her.

Linda is survived by the children she adored, Tara A. McMahon, and John McMahon; two sisters, Patricia Caparso and husband John, and Lisa D. McMahon, a brother, George E. McMahon Jr. and his wife Eleanor; Nieces, nephews and extended family members. Linda was predeceased by her longtime companion, John B. Buss, his mother, Eleanor Buss, who Linda was very close to, and her stepmother Yolanda L. McMahon.  

Linda’s family is grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff of the CCU unit of UMass Memorial Hospital, Belmont Campus, for their care, kindness and compassion.

Funeral services and burial were held privately. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
