She met the love of her life, “Vito Lopopolo” while visiting family in Italy and got married In 1966. She was an avid Red Sox fan (and critic), seldom missing a game. The matriarch of her family, Leda’s home was always filled with the sounds of Italian Music, the aroma of homemade Italian sauce simmering on the stovetop, the smell of Italian cookies in the oven, or with her cherished family surrounding her.
