Kimberly (Kimmy) M. (Fantasia) Nabbout, 62, a longtime resident of Whitinsville passed away surrounded by her family and friends, on Monday, May 18, 2026 due to a strong fight to many illnesses.
Kimmy was born in Quincy, one of four children of Nicholas and Lucille Fantasia. She met the love of her life, George P. Nabbout, and the two were married on September 21, 1985, in Lynn, Massachusetts. In 2000, they made their home in Whitinsville, where they raised their family with faith, devotion, and unconditional love.
Before dedicating herself fully to her family, Kimmy worked in an office setting. She later found her true calling as a devoted mother and caregiver, caring not only for her own children but also for many others through her work in childcare and within the school system.
Kimmy is survived by the love of her life and devoted husband of 40 years, George P. Nabbout; her two cherished daughters, Chantal O’Connor and her husband, Patrick, of Sutton, and Cherice Lowe and her husband, George, of Whitinsville. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jackson (5) and Isabella (4), as well as her step-grandchildren, Tyler (13) and Logan (12), who brought her endless joy.
She is also survived by her two sisters, Pamela Downey of Weymouth and Laurie Fantasia of Lynnfield; her brother, Michael Fantasia and his wife, Theresa, of Weymouth; her beloved dog and faithful companion, Lulu; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends, including Sharon Cugini, whom she loved as a third daughter. Kimmy is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and in-laws overseas.
Kimmy was a member of St. George Orthodox Cathedral. She enjoyed watching Golden Girls and I Love Lucy and drinking coffee. Kimmy’s favorite title was “Nana” and she absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren. Diagnosed with MS in 1995, she went through many health struggles but never gave up or complained and took each day with a profound love for life. During all the years with illness, Kimmy was devoted to caring for her family as best she could. Her greatest moments in life were those spent with her family and friends.
