Josephine P. “Josie” (Rossetti) Siemaszko, 69. a lifelong resident of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly while on vacation in Delray Florida. She is welcomed in heaven into the arms of her son. Robert Jr (Bobby) who passed away in 2016. Josie was the most incredible wife, mother, "Mimi" to her family. They were truly the center of her world.
Josie was born in Worcester, the daughter of John and Dolores (Astrella) Rossetti. She met and married Robert J. Siemaszko, Sr in 1978 and settled in the Massasoit Rd neighborhood of Worcester to raise their family with faith, love, and family. Josephine worked as a medical assistant many years before retiring.
Josie is survived by the “love of her life" and soulmate, Robert J. Siemaszko; a son Michael Siemaszko and his wife Erica of Grafton; daughter in law, Jennifer Siemaszko, of Northbridge; two brothers, John J Rossetti, Jr and his wife Sydney of Jacksonville and James Rossetti of Worcester, four, Grandchildren she cherished dearly Madden, MJ. Audrey and Jake; Nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Josephine devoted her life to caring for those she loved. There was nothing she would not do for her family, friends, or anyone who needed a helping hand, “to know her was to love her”. She had a warmth about her that was bright and comforting like the sun, and her smile could light up a room. Her patience was unmatched, and she truly had the heart of gold.
She was one of the most caring, loving, and thoughtful people anyone could ever meet. Her kindness touched countless lives, and she made everyone feel like they were family.
Over the last ten years of her life, Josephine spent cherished time at the Cape, where she created many wonderful memories. She loved going to the beach, shopping. and playing cards, spending time with her friends, dancing, laughing and stories that will be remembered forever. She truly lived life to the fullest.
Above all Josephine adored her grandchildren. She loved going to their games or special events, proudly cheering them on from the sidelines. They were truly her whole world. and she loved every minute she spent supporting and celebrating them.
Josephine's love, strength, and beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Friends and relatives are invited to gather with the family Wednesday, March 18th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Thursday, March 19th from the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Burial will follow in St John Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Jeremiah's Inn 1059 Main St Worcester, MA 01603 to continue and honor Bobby’s work helping those recovering from addiction.
