Joseph W. O'Mara, 68, of North Brookfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

He is survived by his brother, George J. O’Mara of Havelock, NC; his sisters, Kathleen Simonelli of North Grafton and Karen Wilson and her husband, Paul, of Worcester; nieces and nephews. Predeceased in death by his brother, Rev. Dennis T. O'Mara.

Joe was born in Worcester, the son of the late George J. O’Mara and Josephine J. (Papagni) O’Mara, and grew up in Oxford before eventually settling in North Brookfield.

He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, independence, and the quiet way he cared for those around him. He spent many years working in construction and took pride in owning his own business specializing in custom closet installations.

Joe will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Services will be held privately.
