Joseph D. Forjette

Joseph D. Forjette, 84, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at UMass Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of 53 years to the late Raymonde (Fiset) Forjette.

Born June 28, 1941, in Worcester, one of three children to the late Joseph O. and Delia (Salmon) Forjette. Joseph was a devoted father, grandfather and husband who defined his success by the happiness of his family.

Joseph is survived by his loving children, Joseph M. Forjette and his wife Mary of Westborough, and Michelle Forjette of Worcester; his adored grandchildren, Delia, Zachary, Dylan, and Quinlan Forjette; his sister, Margaret Boucher of Millbury; his cherished extensive family in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, Canada; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Alfred Forjette.

A period of Calling Hours will be held on Friday, January 9th from 9:30a.m. to 10:30a.m. at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A memorial mass for Joseph will be at 11:00a.m. at Sacred Heart- St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 596 Cambridge St, Worcester. There is no burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s memory to the National Scleroderma Foundation.
