José Francisco De Oliveira

José Francisco De Oliveira, of Worcester, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by loving family, just a few days before his 75th birthday.

Franciso, as he was mostly known, is survived by his wife, Haide Oliveira; two sons, Luciano M. De Oliveira and Leonardo M. De Oliveira; five grandchildren, Laryssa, Leonardo, Samilly, Isabella, and Ryan; nieces and nephews. He was born in Piaçabuça, Alagoas, Brazil, son of the late Dionizio Francisco DeOliveira and Nair Rodrigues Lima, and lived there until moving to Worcester in 1989.

Francisco was barber for many years and operated Main Attraction Hair Salon and Barber Shop. It was where he made many connections and new friendships that have lasted for years. He enjoyed fishing and watching soccer.

Calling Hours will be on Thursday, May 14, from 4 pm until 7 pm, with prayers beginning at 6 pm in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
