John Venincasa

John Venincasa, 59, of Charlton, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, in Dunedin, Florida.

John was born February 13, 1966, in Worcester, to the late Anthony and Marie (Standring) Venincasa.

John graduated from North High school and went on to attend cooking school at Worcester Trade. He was a long time UMass Memorial employee. An avid sports fan, John spent many hours watching his favorite teams and debating sports. John cherished every moment with his family and friends, filling their lives with laughter through his quick wit and dry sense of humor.

Despite battling heart issues for the last decade of his life, John’s spirit never wavered, as he continued to live vibrantly, never letting his condition slow him down. His positive disposition will live on in the hearts of those fortunate enough to know him.

John is survived by his loving sisters, Judy, Ellen, and Carmela; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. His sister Terry predeceased him.

Service will be held at Our Lady of Loreto Church in Worcester, MA, on August 23rd at 11:30 am. Burial to follow will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in John’s memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
