Jesse D. Holland, 31, of Danvers, passed away unexpectedly at home, Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
Jesse was born in Worcester, on January 9, 1994, the son of Gerald F. and Cheryl L. (Freedlander) Holland. Raised in Grafton, Jesse graduated from Grafton High School, and earned his degree in computer technology from North Shore Community College. Jesse then began a career in computer technology and security, the last several years with Slingshot Information Systems of Rockport, MA.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Gerald "Jim" and Cheryl "Cheri" Holland of Leicester; a son Giovanni; sister, Sarah Harris and her husband Nicholas of Leicester; brother, Jacob Holland of N. Providence RI; his beloved nephew Nico, maternal grandmother, Ethel Freedlander; his cat and best friend Honey; aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. Jesse was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Gerald Sr. "Jerry" and Matilda “Tillie” Holland, and his maternal grandfather, Bernard “Bernie” Freedlander.
Jesse was a quiet individual with a big heart, who loved animals, and cherished his family and his son, Gio. He was overly bright and able to master most tasks with a computer and technical problems. He loved the comfort of home and spending time with Gio and Honey as well as gaming and going out for sushi; his favorite meal.
Jesse's funeral service will be held Monday, August 11th at 10:30am at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St. Worcester, MA. Burial to follow will be in Riverside Cemetery, Grafton. Friends and family wishing to visit with the family for lunch are invited to Jim and Cheri's Home, 9 Green Street, Leicester following Monday's services and Shiva will be observed Tuesday, August 12th from 5-8pm. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Second Chance Animal Services Adoption Center, East Brookfield, MA.
