Jean E. (DelRosso) Vigliotti, 82, of Worcester, passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loving family, on Monday, February 9, 2026.
Jean is survived by her devoted sons, Joseph J. Vigliotti, Stephen A. Vigliotti and his companion Cheryl, who cared for her with great love. She is also survived by her son John K. Vigliotti; three cherished grandchildren, John K. Vigliotti, Jr., Isabella L. Vigliotti, and Luciano R. Vigliotti a brother Steven L. DelRosso her sister-in-law, Gail DelRosso; a sister Roseann Way of Cape Cod; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her former husband, Anthony J. Vigliotti and her beautiful, sweet puppies, Carlos, Tito, and Julio Vigliotti. She was predeceased by her sister, Ann “Nina” DelRosso, mother, Paulina (Patruno) DelRosso, father, Leo DelRosso, and brother-in-law, Peter Way.
Born in Worcester, Jean graduated from North High School, Magna Cum Laude. She had an unrivaled work ethic, as she started employment at the Parkway Diner in her early years and worked at UMass Medical School in the Radiology Unit, until her passing, while holding positions at Morgan Construction, the original Calabria Restaurant on Shrewsbury Street, Rosie O’Grady’s, and Lowe’s.
Family was always the center of Jean’s life. She cherished time with her children, grandchildren, and her furry canine grandchildren. Jean found pleasure in cooking for those she loved. She enjoyed summers at Hampton Beach with family. Anytime boat rides, beautifying her gardens with her amazing green thumb on her lake front property, strolls down Lake Ave with her beloved puppies, and always opening her home to those she loved.
Jean leaves behind many friends and neighbors who will cherish the memories of a strong, caring, nurturing, and kind-hearted woman who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Calling Hours will be on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 11 am until 2 pm in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
