Jean Mulkay

Jean M. (DeParolis) Mulkay, 82, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the Reservoir Center for Health and Rehabilitation. Her husband, Richard Mulkay, predeceased her.

Jean is survived by two sons, David E. White and his wife Lynn Carpenter-White, and Joseph P. White and his wife Silvana; a brother, Joseph DeParolis; five sisters, Frances Gedzium, Theresa Saab, Bertha Rogers, Anna DeParolis, and Regina DeParolis; two grandchildren, Joseph P. White Jr. and Valentina White; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Claire Caperci. Jean was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, daughter of the late, Joseph DeParolis and Alice (Foley) Gedzium. She graduated from Cambridge Latin High School.

Jean worked for many years as an executive assistant in the Pediatric Neurology Department at Mass General Hospital. She was a member of Christ The King Church in Worcester.

Calling Hours will be on Tuesday, October 13, from 4 pm to 7 pm at the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street. Her Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, October 14, at 10 am at Christ The King Church, 1052 Pleasant Street, Worcester (please go directly to church)
