Jayne L. (Haddad) Knott, 63 of Spencer, formerly of Worcester passed away peacefully Sunday, April 2, 2023, surrounded by loved ones.
Jayne was born in Worcester, the daughter of Ernest and Elsie (Streeter) Haddad. Raised and educated in Worcester, Jayne graduated from Rob Roy beauty academy and began a cosmetology profession for several area salons. In more recent years, she worked as a medical billing specialist before stepping back to focus on her health.
Jayne was a member of St George Orthodox cathedral. She loved animals and had a passion for all types and their wellbeing. She found so much joy with the pets she had over the years, especially her current dog and fashion partner Zahrah. Jayne loved cooking her Lebanese delicacies for family and friends, tending to her garden and plants, watching olde time black and white movies, taking the occasional trip to the casino and of course time spent at her summer getaway at the Worcester Surf Casting Club in Bourne. Highly imaginative, Jayne was eager to show off her ability to turn her home into a winter wonderland at Christmas time and more than anything bring out the scares at Halloween. With an optimistic heart, Jayne had the innate ability to turn nothing into something. She had a kind heart and a bright smile that lit up every room. Jayne was loved by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her and will be sorely missed.
Jayne is survived by her husband Joshua Knott; three children, George “Peter” Fontaine IV and his wife Katherine of Plymouth, Danielle Jayne Fontaine and her boyfriend David Brotherton of Oxford, and Emma Knott of Spencer; two brothers, Ernest “Ernie” Haddad and his wife Debra of Millbury and Doug Haddad of Clinton; two beloved grandchildren, Hannah and Damien; mother and father in law, Donna and Glenn Knott of Leicester; brothers and sisters in law, Tina and Stephen Gerolomo of Worcester, Jen and Bill Roberts of West Brookfield, and Jason Knott in Michigan; Many nieces and nephews including, Doug, Leia, Ginny, Kristen, Jacqueline and great nieces and nephews including Natalie, Mikayla, Trey and Soraya.
