Jaratzed Sanchez, 53,of Webster, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2025. She was born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
Jaratzed was the beloved daughter of Hector L. Rosario of Webster and the late Carmen M. Lopez Perez, who passed away on July 30, 2025. She later moved to Massachusetts, where she was a graduate of South High School and attended Rochester Institute of Technology.
Jaratzed was a kind and creative spirit whose gentle presence was felt by all who knew her. As a self-employed photographer, she had a quiet gift for capturing meaningful moments, preserving memories in a way that reflected both her artistic eye and her caring heart. She approached her work, and her life, with sincerity and warmth.
She found joy in traveling, discovering new places, and embracing new experiences along the way. A devoted Harry Potter fan, she found comfort in its sense of imagination and wonder. Most of all, Jaratzed treasured her family. She shared a deep love for her nieces and nephews and held a special place in her heart for her great-nephew, Enzo, whom she adored. Her love for them was constant, generous, and deeply felt.
She leaves behind her loving father, Hector L. Rosario; her sister, Karlene Rosario; her nieces and nephews, Justice, Faith, and Aiden; and her great-nephew, Enzo. She is also survived by her cherished grandmother, Cecilia Perez; her uncle, William Lopez; her longtime best friend, Victoria; her cousins, Vanessa, Natasha, Isis, and Monique; and her godson, Jax.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Sunday, January 4, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 5, at 11:00 AM at Saint Bernard’s Church, 228 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery.
